Need to shrink calendar control into button

I would like to add a calendar control to my db (Access 2003). I have been
able to add the control and get it to bind to my date control with no
problem, but what I'd like to do is have the calendar control "shrunk down"
to a button, so the user can either enter the date directly, or hit the
button to open the calendar control and pick the date.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks!

You might prefer using the Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 instead
of the calendar control. By default it shows a combo box where you can type
in a date. When you click the drop down arrow on the combo box, a calendar
display appears where you can select a date.

Thanks JR, the Date Time Picker control is exactly what I need. I found an
article online that talked about how to bind the Calendar control to a combo
box, but this looks much cleaner!

Thanks again!

Found a small problem with the Date/Time Picker. I have it bound to the
field in my db, but it is defaulting to today. If I move to the next record
and then back to this record, it shows the correct date.

Thanks,

I agree. I have always used Date Time Picker control but occasionally would
have a problem running on some computers.
The one from Allen Browne's website works great.

Thanks Jay,

It looks like Allen Browne's is the way to go! I appreciate the suggestions
from everyone.
