Need to re-enter network key every few minutes

Since being away and using a different wireless network, my laptop drops out
from the internet every few minutes. To reconnect I have to go to control
panel and re-enter the network key manually, as it has automatically changed
to ticking the box saying "This key is provided for me automatically".
No-one else using the same Belkin 54g router is having the same problem.

Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?

Hi
Whatever Wireless manger you are using probably has your native local Access
Points in your preferred wireless Network.
Clean it up when you are on the road so it would not try to look for Access
Point that are Not existing, and check the advance table to fit best to your
current situation.
In Windows it looks like this, http://www.ezlan.net/wireless/wzc3.jpg
