Need to Enable File & Printer Sharing

I have an environment in which I need to check and enable f&p on ~700
workstations through a logon script. I am currently using snetcfg (thru
logon script) to install if it is not. However, in most cases, f&p is
already installed but the checkbox is unchecked. Is there a way to enable
f&p with snetcfg or scour the registry for this and if found to be disabled
modify the registry via script to be able to place a check in the checkbox?

I have tested by removing f&p and reinstalling via snetcfg but many of the
machines have customized mapped drives and shares that cannot be disrupted.
