Need to disable Microsoft Access Report

We recently upgraded to a Windows 2003 server. Unfortunately, after the
upgrade all of the data documents with the extension .mar are now
unaccessable. We now get a Microsoft Access Report window even though most
of these documents were created in WordPerfect 8. Is there any way I can
disable this Microsoft Access Report to that we can go back to using all of
the documents with a .mar extension? Thank you.
