How do I change the location of the Outlook Data files?

If you are using XP, then go to:

c;\ - documents & settings - owner - local settings - applications data -
microsoft - outlook. You will be moving the *.pst file.

Note that Outlook will open without data and will create another *.pst file.

If you are saving or moving the data to another computer, you can always
bring it back and replace the *.pst file that was newly created.

Actually, if Outlook can't find the .PST file it was previously using, it
should ask whether the user wants to search for an existing .PST file or
have Outlook create a new one.
