need some help please

i had to reformat.
now when i save something to
a certain drive, when i reboot
and save something else it
keeps defaulting to my documents.
anyway to stop this??

also is there a way to keep desktop
icons to stay where i want them and
not move when i reboot??

Take a look at the Start Folder. If 'My Documents' is in there, delete the
shortcut. Right-click Start Button > All Users > Open the Program Folders >
Start Folder.

Right-click Desktop > Arrange Icons By > Lock Web Items on Desktop

'Lock Web Items on Desktop' specifies whether Web content windows or items
that you have placed on your desktop are locked in place and can't be
moved. Select the check box to lock Web content in place. Clear the
checkbox if you want to be able to move Web content.
