Hello I have been searching for some hours here on how to disable the power
button on some keyboards

The function is in the registry called scancode map but there is no clear
info anywhere.
On the MS site the information is either vauge or over my head.

I found this page but Im not sure it will work. Can any one confirm this or
guide or tell me the
correct values for the power button? THANKS

in registry go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout
and create a new BINARY value called "Scancode Map", ten fill in the
following values:

00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
02 00 00 00 00 00 5E E0
00 00 00 00
