I cannot find the specific install instructions for the Office Beta
Refresh...can someone help?

Unfortunately, I went ahead and tried a "one click" install and it hosed my
entire Vista install! Viva System Restore! lol

I think the only requirement was to make sure you already Office 2007 beta
installed and then install the refresh.

Not according to the download page...

IMPORTANT: Please read the update documentation, referenced in the "To
install this download" section on this page, BEFORE applying this Beta 2
Technical Refresh update. The documents list several steps that you must
complete prior to installation to ensure a successful update. This is NOT a
single click update.

....but unfortunately the link to the documentation is broken. Thanks, tho!

Discover the latest update to the 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta. We've
listened carefully to your feedback and have developed a technical refresh
with significant performance improvements and redesigns to address your
needs and to enhance your user experience
.. ***Please note that the Beta 2 Technical Refresh extends the life of Beta
2, which you need to install first.***
The refresh is recommended if you'd like to use Beta 2 in combination with
Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 (RC1).

I had the beta 2 installed and did one click to install the refresh and that
was it. At least thats all I remember doing.

<Shhh!>

Same here - but i took the naughty step of refreshing Office 2007 beta
in 64 bit Vista and leaving the beta unrefreshed in 32 bit vista just in
case there were losses attached to the refresh :)

Only problem I had was the Office 2007 B2TR killing off Sharepoint Designer
2007... absolutely murdered it. It runs, but look at these screenshots...
code written all over the "office ribbon". I did a system restore,
reinstalled Office 2007, installed B2TR without sharepoint installed. Worked
fine. However, now that it is on the Sharepoint installer crashes during
setup.
