Need high level support for this one!

I am working on a client's computer. The person whom set
it up placed a password expiration date along with
automatic login. When the client tried to change the
password, they could no longer log on to the computer.
Windows 2000 states that the local policy does not allow
interactive login. I can get into the registry with ERD
Commander, a program that includes a password changing
tool for 2000 and XP computers.

Can you please tell me what registry key(s) to modify to
allow the user to log in interactively.

Hello David,

Unfortunately, this is not a registry setting, but a granted right. This is
defined in the security section of the policy and does not write registry
keys.

To work around this behavior, if the machine is in a domain, simply create
another Group policy that overrides this one at an OU level. Once you are
logged on, modify the local policy of the machine in question.

The right that is being denied is SeInteractiveLogonRight.
