Need help with XP file sharing

We have 2 Windows XP computers on a LAN in our house. I set the sharing
preferences on one of my folders to be accessible to the Guest account. I
had disabled simple file sharing and I gave the Guest account a password.
But when I try to login to my computer from the other computer the login
fails and says it doesn't have permission. I even tried setting up a regular
user account under a name other than Guest but it didn't work either. What
am I doing wrong?

I ended up going back to simple file sharing (although I still used a
password on the Guest Account). After doing that the sharing dialog box
prompted me to enable File & Printer Sharing by running the Network Setup
Wizard. I opted to enable it without running the wizard and now it works
fine. So I guess you have to run the wizard or enable Simple File Sharing
before you switch to Advanced File Sharing. Not very intuitive, the advanced
dialog should prompt you too.
