I just purchase my xp compaq presaro two weeks back, and so far everything seems to be working in perfect condition, except my smart media reader writer! my digital camara uses smartmedia cards, so i was real happy to discover that my new puter had such a drive, especially since the software and driver for my camara is not compatable with xp, but when i try to use the drive with my smart media card, nothing happens! the green light will come on, but it dont blink lkie the insructions says it will when it is reading the card, and when i try and get my pics off the card in my photo software, it imforms me that there is no disk insde the smartmedia drive!
can someone please help me, with this problem?
Thanks in advance....................................................................Etta
