Need help with recent post

Folks, a post today had a download link to a program titled "Free Bible
Interfaith Explorer." I've deleted the post -- it had several downloads
on it -- and I don't know how to search archives for the post.

Would it be possible for someone to either email me a copy of the post, or
tell me how to search news archives?

I see others have already pointed you to the link that you were after so
I'm going to try to help you search for previous posts so that you will be
right next time.
First you need to bookmark this page-

http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search

As you know the name of the program, the newsgroup that it was posted to,
and when it was posted, the search is pretty easy. Try it, put
"alt.comp.freeware" into the "group" box, put "free bible" into the "with
all of the words box", and put "past 24 hours" in the "return messages
posted" box.
See, told you it was easy.

I see that someone has already posted the URL of the program you want, but
you might like to make a note of this URL:

http://groups.google.com/groups?q=alt.comp.freeware

It will take you to the Google archive for alt.comp.freeware archive. To
search other groups just change the end of the URL after the = , or you can
do a general newsgroup search. Just out of curiosity, I tried a general
search for "bible" and it came up with 5,720,000 items in .26 seconds.
Miraculous?
