Need help with 2nd windows

Well I upgraded my hardware. Put in my slipstream disk and before I knew it
had a 2nd windows xp home on my computer. How do I remove the 2nd install?
It also messed up my ie7 on my original windows. I finally got my internet
connection back. But the slipstream disk didn't give me the option to do a
repair. I've reactivated on my orig install so that's working. Any help
would be appreciated. I did get ie7 loaded and the internet working. I see
the boot.ini file. If I remove the second window and then remove the
windows.0 folder will that fix it?
