Need help w PP slide has RO data that needs updated

Slide data may have created in Excel theninserted as picture, must change
real data for demo presentation.

Instead of inserting the data as picture. Go to insert -> Object ->
Click on create from File and then Browse and attach your excel.

This may help to solve your problem.
