I am trying to use HCT to test the driver for our USB device with the
goal of getting the driver signed by MS. However, on installing HCT
12.1.01 I'm confronted with which categories to install and I'm
confused as to which one(s) to select.
'Bus Controllers' only caters for USB Controllers & USB hubs, so I'm
thinking that's not the one. Should I therefore select 'Unclassified'?
Our USB device doesn't seem to fall into any of the categories. To give
you an idea, consider it to be a light senor that measures light
intensity and sends that data to a PC over USB, where ultimately an
application will read it from the driver and analyse it.
Any sugestions on getting started with HCT appreciated.
