My computer has only one user acct. set up and without my
knowledge my 11 year old was playing around and got into
the user acct. set up and set up herself as the
administrator and put in her own password. She says she
just held down the letter j until it stopped and now I am
unable to get into the computer at all. It will not
except that as the password and I really need to know if
there is any way that I can override that or what I can do
to get into my computer. Thanks for any help.

Hi

You should have taken sufficient care to avoid this kind of jokes happening. Windows has provided with a lock-your-computer feature when you are away. well one solution is to restore your computer to a previous setting and then try to see if your old password works

Hi

I believe that a lot of 'unwanted surfing' is the fault of either/both the parent(s) and school. Neither know enough about the dangers of the Internet to be able to educate their children/pupils. Mum/Dad buys little Jonny (5 years old) a PC for 'school work' - that's where the problem starts. 1st PC, neither Mum nor Dad have a clue as to the potential dangers of using a PC.

There is great deal of reading available via a Google search to stop these anomalies happening.
