Ok i just downloaded this program. It removed 5 items
that my spybot and adaware didnt detect. But what it
isnt doing is fixing the problem.. I think there is some
sort of trojan downloaded on my computer that is
downloaded more and more spyware. And these programs are
just erasing its symptoms and not the problem. Everytime
i open IE a pop-up comes up about Adware (Not Ad-Aware).

There are also two new programs in my Program List that
came when all the spyware started atking my system. There
names are Home Search Assistant, Shopping Wizard, and
Search Extender. I cant remove any of them because it
always says "Unable to open http://looking-
for.cc/uninstall[Insert program name here]". Ive tried
searching for the files and cant find them. Ive tried
safe mode and i still cant uninstall them. I also have
Nortons and it is not detecting it either.

Any Help or Sudgestions 8(?? This is also after it was
completely clean from a Clear Install of Windows. Which
means i deleted hte partition and all the files every on
my comp then reinstalled everything.

Microsoft AntiSpyware does not detect Trojans, that is the duty of an
Antvirus utility.
1) Submit suspected spyware report in the tools menu of Antispyware
2) Reboot in safe mode and run a deep scan
3) Run antivirus (with current definitions) while you are in safe mode.

On the Scan Page choose Scan Options > Full System Scan. Do this at
least two times until detects something. Also, before you restart in safe
mode, disable System Restore, some trojans and spyware programs are likely
to restore themselves with system snap shots:

Right click My Computer > Properties > System Restore, check the "Disable
System Restore" check box and restart in safe mode.

Hi Jay,
Aside from following the suggestion to scan in Safe Mode, do you have your
firewall on? Do you have a current up to date Antivirus running? ....and
have you run Windows Update since you rebuilt that box??
