We have received a 'template' from Corporate for our 'Monthly Performance
Report' utilizing Worksheets from our 'Performance Report' Spreadsheet in
Excel. They have 'linked' different worksheets in the Word Document, but we
lose half of the info on the Worksheet in the document.
We have re-pasted the worksheet data as RTF through 'Paste Special' so we
can format it in Word, BUT, Word loses all the Table formatting once you
close the document!!!
HELP!!!

Hi,

To paste an are from an Excel Worksheet into Word as a linked object usually
involves selecting the source area in Excel, copying it, then pasting it
into Word using Edit|Paste Special and choosing the 'paste link' and format
options you require.

Your post indicates that you're doing this, but not what is being lost when
you use the worksheet format.

If it's simply that the pasted Worksheet doesn't fit on the page, try
changing from portrait to landscape or scaling down the pasted object
(Format|Object|Size).

If the problem is that Word won't show some of the columns even though
there's room for them on the page, try narrowing the columns in Excel or
using the 'picture' format for the pasted object. Alternatively, after
pasting the object into Word as a Worksheet, try double-clicking on it (to
open) then dragging the right-hand object handle to increase the number of
visible columns.

Cheers
