I have 2 colums.

A B

Can you please tell me a solution to check for duplicate cells in column B and if he founds a duplicate, to check and see what value is in column A and keep the row with the smallest value in A.

I show end up with this:

43 fgh-23-_1
22 kl982323
45 lw-kmn/32

I did not explain this very well.

Here it is again.

download the sample data from here http://www.2shared.com/document/2Vlm8cWU/sample.html (the sample only has a 20 items, the original one has 21000) and some products are the same from even 8 suppliers.

I want to get rid of the duplicate products with the same reference and keep just the one with the smallest price.

I hope I explained now correctly.

I had download the excel which you provided in the link so first of all sort the the price column in ascending order so you would get the smaller price first then select the Name column means column C then go to Data menu then select Remove Duplicates sub menu then select "Continue with the current selection" & then finally click on Remove Duplicates so now you get get rid of the duplicate products with the same reference and with smaller price. Just try it hope it would be useful to you !
