Need custom opportunity stages

I figured out how to create custom opportunity names, but I want each
opportunity name to have its own set of stages. Can this be done? I am in
sales and different opportunity types may have very different stages. Thanks!

Anthony:

BCM doesn't have that ability natively. You could add stages to the Sales
Stage dropdown that would describe your process, so it might look like this:

OppType1: Stage 1
OppType1: Stage 2
OppType1: Stage 3
OppType2: Stage 1
OppType2: Stage 2
OppType3: Stage 3

Lon,

Thanks for the suggestion. That's what I was thinking but then how do I
filter out what stage data for specific opportunity types? I don't want to
have to duplicate every report and dashboard view for the unique types of
opportunities. I am a long time Act user and I am almost ready to make the
switch but this is something I need to figure out before I do. Thanks again!
