Need Blank Slide w/o using design master info

Hi,

I'm using the blends design master. I need to create one slide that doesn't
incorporate the boxes in the upper corner of the slide.

Is there a way to edit this template? Do i just create another slide master?

Make a second master using View - Master - Slide master - New master button
on the toolbar. Click on the rename button and give the new master a
distinctive name.
Now on that new master, click on the three boxes and delete the image.
Now return to your presentation, in the slide design pane, look for the
second master, it should be on top of the pane right above the available
templates. Hover over the thumbnail, the name will appear, click on the arrow
next to it and hit apply to selected slides.
