Not too sure what I should say about the cpr hardware, etc.
WXP Home, 3GHz proc, 1GB Ram, 250GB HD.

Been using this cpr to record and play dvds for 2 years; never a problem.

Within days of each other, neither will auto load a movie dvd, commercial or
homemade.

In Explorer, the volume name of the dvds isn`t shown (commercial or homemade).
They used to be shown.

The dvd hardware:
Pioneer DVR A05 recorder and a A120 player. ( both OEM)
I have re associated the VOB files with Power DVD and they open ok when I dbl
clk on a vob file.

Properties of the drives say they are working ok.

I have been using clone dvd2 to record multi-titled disks and split as I need to
in order to have no video compression. This still works ok but takes several
minutes longer now to record a dvd once the files have been processed to new vob
files.

The dvds I`ve made since this problem occurred work ok on the Phillips
standalone but not on the cpr. No auto open)

What is peculiar to me is that sometimes if I open My Cpr and dbl clk on the
dvd recorder drive with a dvd in it, the dvd is opened fast with Power DVD and
the dvd plays normally(change chapters, menu works, etc).
This is not the case when viewing the same drive from explorer.

Ideas greatly appreciated!
