ndis.sys blue screen

Hi,

I always get a ndis.sys blue screen error when BT downloading
some suggests Kaspersky Anti-Virus NDIS filter in NIC protocol has something
to do with it.
uncheck it, but it does nothing good.

I also updated my NIC driver to the latest for Marvell Yukon 88E8056 as
others told me,
however it seems not the point.

Can anyone help?

See if updating to the ndis.sys driver from the below KB article will
help you: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952117

I know it's not your issue but the ndis.sys driver is newer. Let me
know how it goes.

It would be hepful if you posted a complete copy of the Stop Error report.

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Keep pressing the F8
key during Start-Up and select option - Disable automatic restart on
system failure.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure. Check for variants of
the Stop Error message.

Are you able to boot in safe mode?

The direct answer to your question is no.

Can you please clarify what you mean by saying "BT downloading"? Downloading
what? Is this an automatic download or one you initiate?

When did the problem first arise? This should be apparent in Event Viewer as
you will see the equivalent of the Stop Error there. You should then think
about whether you made any hardware or software changes shortly before the
problem occurred.

Whilst in Event Viewer are there any errors occuring before the Stop Error?

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

The timing of the error would also be useful should you have a System
Restore point before the error as it might present a simple way to reverse
the change which has caused the problem.

What are your anti-virus and anti-spyware arrangements? Security software
can sometimes be linked to this type of problem.

Have you recently had any malware infestations?

Is this the driver update you installed?
