NAV problem...don't know if it's SP2 related

Yesterday I installed SP2...after that I ran Liveupdate and one of the
updates doesn't download. It says:

"LU6004: LiveUpdate did not complete successfully. Due to a transmission
error, one or more LiveUpdate components failed internal authentication.
Please run LiveUpdate again. If the error persists, contact your network
administrator or LiveUpdate provider."

Does anybody have the same problem? Or is it just my pc?

I don't know what to do and Symantec's website doesn't answer

Please help

Thanks

go to http://symantec.com and type LU6004 into the Search box

further to my previous followup, go to the following symantec link, download
and install the latest version of LiveUpdate... that may resolve your
current situation. no need to uninstall the old LiveUpdate, the new one
will automatically uninstall the old one.

LiveUpdate support:
http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/files/lu/lu.html

download latest LiveUpdate:
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/liveupdate/lusetup.exe

I already read that and have been waiting sice yesterday as it says. I also
tried deleting the files in the download folder.

I still get the error...

uninstall LiveUpdate from Add/Remove Programs, ignore the warning that some
applications still need it. restart and clean-out the LiveUpdate directory,
then reinstall the latest version if LU, it should re-register itself with
the currently installed symantec products.

LU post-uninstall, restart system, then wipe-out:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate\*.*
and
C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate\*.*

reinstall latest version of LiveUpdate

unfortunately, LiveUpdate errors are not uncommon, and fixing them can be a
real nightmare. symantec really needs to address this problem.
