native 2000 domain in mixed-mode forest

I think I already have the answer for this question, but
would like any confirmation you can give me. Is it
possible to run a native 2000 AD domain in a forest that
contains mixed-mode 2000 domains? From what I can gather,
this should work fine, but details on it seem kind of
sketchy. It looks as though the answer to this question
changes with a 2003 domain, where mixed-mode and native
mode apply to the forest level as well. Please correct me
where I'm wrong. Any input would be appreciated.

.
Yes, you may. You may have one domain in the domain tree
in Native Mode and one in Mixed Mode at the same time.
Just remember that there are a few things that are not
available in Mixed Mode ( just as there are a few things
that are ).

Cary
