Narrator opens at start up

My MIL's laptop with Vista home installed is being driven potty by narrator
opening on start up. She says she thinks her neighbour did something when
she was showing her how to operate the laptop (her first computer ever!)

I had a quick look while I was visiting and couldnt see why it keeps
opening. Theres no entry in the start up folder. Nor any options to always
open within narrator itself. Any ideas on undoing this??

Thanks.

Open Control Panel, and "Ease of Access Center"
click on "Use the computer without a display"
uncheck [ ] "Turn on Narrator"
Save
