Mysterious Files

Don

I have two files that appear on my PC with strange ID's
and similar contents; both indicate from MS but they do
not install. Can anyone help me determine what they are,
and if I can or should install? MS site offers NO HELP.
Folders on My D Drive - unknown to me
One folder contains basically the same contents as the
other but were created on different dates:
a. 1d759e8bbfb9cb45de85893db1b3
517 KB (529,916 bytes) created Oct 11, 2003
b. 52c62c56702de17ff3069a
517 KB (529,920 bytes) Created Oct 28, 2003

Note that both contain the same folders - I copied data
regarding only one:

Contains: folder "Sp2"
Which contains - Windows Service Pack Uninstall
- spmsg.dll
- folder "update"

This folder contains: - "spcustom.dll"
- Windows Service Pack Setup
401 KB (411,136 bytes)
- eula
4.00 KB (4,096 bytes)
and is simply the license agreement
from Microsoft - no ID of product.

When I click on Update I receive the error message:
Could not find update.inf

I am a senior citizen, new to computers, and in need of
some help. Thank you. Don

These are updates data. You don't need to do anything with them, leave them
alone.
