~~ My Video is Chopy PLease Help ! ~~

I imported a video. And in movie maker when i press play it plays it
smoothly. THen I added a music File to play over it. Now, when i try to play
the movie with the music, the whole video get choppy and skips (within the
Windows Media PLayer)

When I save the file and open it up, it works fine !

Its just frusterating to not be able to veiw it smoothly while im editing it.

Is there anything i can do? I tried Shrinking the size of the window but
that doesn't help =(

Are you sure you are previewing it in media player and not movie maker?
If in Movie Maker then it depends on your system resources. The lower they
are, the higher the complexity of the movie, then movie maker will skip
along in order to preview it all to you immediately in real time.
Try turning off everything you don't need to free up resources on the pc.
Other apps will render alterations first, so you have to wait for a temp
file to be made before watching it......... choices choices!!
