My task bar is not showing. How do I restore it?

My task bar is not showing, although it had been showing up to know. I am
unable to restore as the option is not available in "View". Help please.

Taskbar is a Windows function not Word , which this forum is concerned about.
Does the Taskbar not appear when you hover the mouse over the bottom or side
of the screen (where ever you may have had it before it disappeared)? If it
does, right mouse click, Properties, uncheck Auto-hide the taskbar.
If this does not help go to the Windows forum for the OP you have:
