My spell check isn't working, how do I fix it?

In word 2002 sp3, my spell check doesn't find mispelled words or wrong
grammer. I have gone through the repair cycle, and have checked all the
boxes in the spelling and grammer options. I think I may be missing the
needed database or dll. thanks.

Try typing a word you know is misspelled. Select it. Under the Tools menu go
to Language > Select Language.

Is the box to not check spelling or grammar checked?
