My screen tints blue, not all the time just sometimes

Like it says my screen Tints itself diffrent levels of blue sporadicly, ive tried getting the newest drives for my video card and windows but neither worked.
It is probly also important to note that this only happend after I re-installed xp over 98 after erasing (formating) my hard drive, and that this is not the first computer I have had do this.
