My regular user login suddenly doesn't see any printer on my win2k3 server

Guest

Hi,

When I login as a regular user on my win2k3 Ent server, I no longer see any
printer installed on the "Printers and Faxes" folder. However, if I login as
an administrator, those printer/fax entries are there. Can anyone please
help me out to get my printer/fax back as a regular user?

Thank you.

Hi Mazi,

Thank you for posting!

To see the printer, the user needs to have the permissions. Please refer to
the following steps to check the permissions of the printer.

1. Open the Control Panel->Printers and Faxes folder with the administrator
account.

2. Open the printer properties.

3. Click the Security tab.

4. Check if the regular user has the permission to use the printer.

For more information, please refer to the following article.
