My Recent Documents always (empty)

My Recent Documents always displays (empty) and grayed out. I have it
enabled in the Customize Start Menu -> Advanced -> List my most recently
opened documents. I also did the clear list even though there was nothing
displayed, but did not help.

There is an
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\NoRecentDocsHistory
key. The value data is 0000 05 05 EA 09. Does this have anything to do
with it?

Anywhere else to look?

Hi Dennis,
Try6b to delete the entry from the registry Key:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\NoRecentDocsHistory

Delete the " NoRecentDocsHistory". Exit the Registry Editor and Reboot your
machine. Does it help removing this entry?

Deleted the key and now My Recent Doocument displays docs accessed.
