My presentation drops the sound from my own audio file folder.

In the past and the present, I have inserted an audio of my own, but when I
have my presentation sometimes the sound disappears. This has happened with
me and other people. How can I prevent this?

It depends on the soaund file. If it is a smaller "wav" file it gets
embedded in your presentation and always moves with the file. If it is a
larger "wav" file or other type they are "linked" and must be copied along
with your presentation file if you want to transport the file. Also you must
seriously consider making sure and sound file like this is in the same folder
as your presentation BEFORE you insert it. Otherwise this "link" might not
work.

To make sure wav files embedd change the value in tools>options>genaral "link
sound files with size greater than" to 50000. With mp3 files either as above
place in the same folder or use a short link path eg c:/sound
