Okay guys...I have a wierd problem that I hope someone
can help me with...
When I go to Tools, Email Accounts, and set up my POP
account information, in the incoming mail server, I type
my incoming mail server.... mydomain.com Under Login
information I type in my Username and Password. All is
well until I reboot my computer. Upon reboot, I get the
message below....
Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your
incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive
this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'
When I go back into my Email settings after a reboot, my
incoming mail server is listed as "Localhost" (when I
swear I typed it in as Mydomain.com) and my username is
listed as username/mydomain.com (previously typed in as
just Username) I then have to go in and change it. It
works just fine after that until I reboot. What on earth
is posessing my computer to do this? Is it something to
do with my antivirus software, PC Cillin?
Your advice on exorcising this demon would be appreciated.
