My POP 3 email account settings are posessed!

Okay guys...I have a wierd problem that I hope someone
can help me with...

When I go to Tools, Email Accounts, and set up my POP
account information, in the incoming mail server, I type
my incoming mail server.... mydomain.com Under Login
information I type in my Username and Password. All is
well until I reboot my computer. Upon reboot, I get the
message below....

Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your
incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive
this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'

When I go back into my Email settings after a reboot, my
incoming mail server is listed as "Localhost" (when I
swear I typed it in as Mydomain.com) and my username is
listed as username/mydomain.com (previously typed in as
just Username) I then have to go in and change it. It
works just fine after that until I reboot. What on earth
is posessing my computer to do this? Is it something to
do with my antivirus software, PC Cillin?

Your advice on exorcising this demon would be appreciated.

This is your antivirus software's doing - see if the mfr. has a newer
version that scans mail in a more sophisticated manner, or get another AV
product. Some will suggest that you disable mail scanning - that will work,
but I personally don't recommend it as I like having as many layers of
protection as possible.

Have you checked machine for Kletz virus? This virus
deletes the Microsoft Windows Installer which is a
necessary program and may be bad due to virus.
Norton website has many details about this virus and harm
it causes to your PC.
