My Pictures - No titles?

Friend has a minor prob...
When she displays My Pictures and views as Thumbnails the folders do not
show their titles?
Viewed in Tiles, Icons, List and Detail all info is shown its just when
viewed as Thumbnails.
Any advice?

Have your friend do the following.

In the My Pictures folder, click on View and change it to
something other than Thumbnails.
Next, while holding down the Shift key, change the View back to
Thumbnails.

Excellent - that did it ...but how - couldn't find any chapter and verse
about this...how to do this without using the short cut you explained using
shift key?...couldn't find info in Help?...would you know?

You're right. That behavior isn't documented in XP's help
files. That said, it is well documented on the internet.
