My Outllook is a disaster................

I just left my company where I was using Outllook (Office 2000) as my e-mail,
calendar, contacts etc for "work", with a VPN connectionon on my home
machine. I was, and still am, using Outlook Express as the client for my
primary personal e-mail on the aforementioned home machine. I recently
updated all my Office Products from the MS site, and now my Outlook
says.................Outlook 2003.

Prior to, and after the updates, I have two issues that are driving me
bonkers. One. Express will not display any inforamtion other than e-mail. No
calendar, no contacts, no tasks.............nothing.

Outlook is doing some incredibily wierd things................For example, I
put in a calendar appopintment, say July 19th from 11:30AM-1:30PM. I close
and save. Outlook puts the appointment in today's date, with the time it was
entered, like July 14th, at 8AM. When i cllick on the appointment on the
14th, the original 19th entry comes up. What in the wide, wide, world of
sports is happening?

Any help or guidance with both "Oulooks" would be greatly appreciated.

I think you've got things seriously messed up and some facts you posted are
wrong so helping is going to be hard;

1) Outlook and Outlook Express are totally urelated products. Outlook
Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family. If you need help with Outlook Express use this newsgroup instead;
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...px?dg=microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general

2) There is no update from the Microsoft website that will update your
Outlook version from 2000 to 2003. That would require a separate CD, license
and license key so this installation wouldn't go "unnoticed."

3) Outlook Express doesn't hold functions to manage Tasks and a Calendar;
only Microsoft Office Outlook does this.

4) Not sure on your entry issue but it would help knowing exactly what were
working with here. ;-)
