My new PowerPoint design (pot) does not automatically resize font

I have designed a new style for my PPT slides. However, the font sizes
in the main slides body do not automatically resize to a smaller font when
the text exceeds the main body box. I have to manually resize to fit in the
box.

Do I need to set a specific parameter to get automatic resize? My design is
based on an existing PPT design with Calibri fonts.

Yes, indeed it is 2007. I did the same in 2003 and never had any problems.

John, many thanks. Modified the master slide. Works just fine for the new
slides (I and I will apply to future designs).

However, existing slides will have to be individually and manually
adjusted (i.e., they do not obey the master ). Is there any way to forcibly
apply a new change (like this one) to all existing slides?
