My minimized programs no longer show up on the task bar. Help!

Days ago we discovered that when we minimize a program, it no longer appears
on the task bar. We can still get the program up by hitting "Alt+Tab" but we
would like our running programs to still show up on the task bar. What can
we do to restore that ability?

You might want to go to this web site and run the script on
