My list

I have Vista RC1 build 5600 installed on a hard drive of its own and use
a switchable drive tray. I run it "once in a while" trying to get it set
up so everything works. It's come along nicely since I first installed
it. Here's three of the problems I'm having right now.
1. I have a Sabrent SBT-TVFM card. It installed easily and everything
works fine but the sound. In Sound Properties there is no "Line In"
icon in the Playback list. Line In is listed under recording devices
however and I have it set wide open. No, the sound isn't muted. I
posted once before about this (no answer).
2. No volume control icon in the system tray. In Taskbar and Start Menu
properties under notification area everything is greyed out except
the clock, including "volume."
3. Actiontec Phone Wizard installed OK and is "working properly" but it
isn't :) Light won't come on and it doesn't work. I've already
emailed support at Actiontec about that one. Not a Windows problem
I don't imagine.

The two devices work OK in XP.

I've run into some other bugs but I have to start somewhere. If anyone
has any ideas about those first two, I'd sure appreciate some help.

Thanks.

As stated, I have already contacted one of them.
Who manufacturers the volume control icon?
