My keyboard is not working. I believe it's sticky key or repeater

I am helping a friend and they held down the shift key and now their keyboard
is not working.

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Accessibility Options to turn
it off. While you're there, click the Settings button and uncheck the
"Use shortcut" box to prevent it from turning on accidentally.
