My experience...

Here's my two cents:

Missed by Microsoft Antispyware (MSAS), found by AdAware:
1 malware, "Bargain Buddy", found in a System Restore
folder

Missed by MSAS, found by Spybot S&D:
1 link, "Alexa-related", found in C:/Windows/Web/

2 Registry values, "IsearchTech.Powerscan", found in both
HKEY_USERS\XXXXX\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\INTERNET
EXPLORER\MAIN\BANDREST\ and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\INTERNET
EXPLORER\MAIN\BANDREST\

13 additional problems detected/fixed and 10 (!) Windows
Hosts Files had to be blocked (most from "Clear-
search.com").

My rating for MSAS? A solid 9 out of 10, which surprises
me to give since it's still in beta. I had no
compatibility issues, no installations problems, and I
think the Advanced Settings are the icing on the cake.

I don't want to go on a rant but unlike so many other
Windows OS users (I use XP Home), I'm hardly disgruntled
with most Microsoft programs and look forward to final
releases of programs like MSAS.

I'm currently using the latest version of AdAware as well
as McAfee Antispyware, so I'll happily add Microsoft
Antispyware for the "hat trick". There's safety in
numbers, right?

I tested Microsoft Antispyware on a:

Dell Dimension 4300,
1.6ghz Pentium 4 processor,
512mb RAM,
Windows XP Home SP2,
cable internet connection.
