Hi, I'm having a promlem with excel, when I open a excel file it crashes and
the program starts to send a report to Microsoft. Here is a report from Event
Viewer (Application):

Faulting application excel.exe, version 12.0.6425.1000, stamp 49d64dd6,
faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.5512, stamp 4802a188, debug? 0,
fault address 0x00037efb.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

And it has a Event id: 1000.

And another from Microsoft Office Session:
ID: 1, Application Name: Microsoft Office Excel, Application Version:
12.0.6425.1000, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.6425.1000. This session lasted
1 seconds with 0 seconds of active time. This session ended with a crash.

And it has a event id: 7001
I've all the latest updates but that doesent't seems to help.
Can someone help with this issue?

I find myself having the same issue with Excel. It is with a couple of
documents, but other users can open these documents without issue. I have
tried updating Excel, reapplying SPs and finally reinstalling the suite with
no success. Does anyone have an idea?

Check in the registry under:

HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins

set a BtOfficeAddin.BtOfficeIntegration.1 LoadBehaviour to 0.

Tell me.

Disabling the Bluetooth-AddIn solved the problem

Hi Xav1er et al,

thank you for posting your suggestion with the Bluetooth AddIn. I did not disable it directly in the registry, but unchecked it in Excel's COM-Addin-Managing dialog. The value in the registry is no 2 (before it was 3), but now I can open my documents again without a crash.

Thank you very much.

Just for the records: my eventlog entry looked like this:
Faulting application excel.exe, version 12.0.6504.5001, stamp 49fea693, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.5512, stamp 4802c034, debug? 0, fault address 0x00037efb.
