i set up a terminal server in application mode where some of our outside users can connect to. the users all have a laptop and no roaming profile or something else
now what i want is that the users aren't able to save documents and other data on the terminal server i want the data to be stored on the laptop from wich they connect to the ts. how do i do that

If the terminal server is 2003 & the users connect via Remote Desktop Client 5.1 or 5.2 then all they need to do is check "Client Drives" in the Remote Desktop Client options. If the server is 2000 then you'll need a program like TSDropCopy with the Remote Desktop Client or the rdpclip resource kit utility with the Terminal Services Client 5.0
