My Documents weirdness

Hi:

I saw this post from April, and I'm having the same issue. Does anyone
know why this happened?
pane now goes to:
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\My Documents

I've never had a Local Sevice folder before. What is it and why is it
there?
This shortcut always took me to my actual "My Documents" folder before
and
now it's going to the Local Service whatever that is. I just noticed
the
change today. <<

The only account I have is the administrator account, and Clicking on
My computer, then Administrators Documents always took me to the
regular old "My Documents". Now it takes me to the local service
folder with nothing in it. Just noticed ithappening yesterday.

Thanks for any insight!

That should be "C:\Documents and settings\LocalService\"

In Windows Explorer, the My Documents shortcut that is listed in the left
pane now goes to:
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\My Documents

Start - Run
%userprofile%
If "C:\Documents and settings\Local Settings\" is opened then :

Hi,

Thanks, but C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator comes up when I do
that, so something else is weird here.

I know two things. The modified date on C:\Documents and
Settings\LocalService\My Documents is yesterday.

AOL updated it's stupid connectivity software, which I don't even use,
yesterday.

Get TweakUI
My Computer > Special Folders
Right side, check the path of each item.

You should not use the built in Administrator account for normal activities.
Create another account, with admin level privileges, and use that. The
Administrator account should left alone to use in case something corrupts
the normal working account. If you regularly use the Administrator account
and it get's corrupted, there is no way to login. After creating the new
account copy what you want from the Administrator account to the new
account.

In Start | Help and Support search on accounts for info on how to set up and
configure user accounts or see these links:
