My Documents Folders

I dragged 2 folders from My Documents into the Shared Folder for the
network. Namely, My Music and My Pictures. I've since tried moving them
back to My Documents however I receive an error saying that they are
Windows system folders and cannot be moved, renamed, etc.

I aalso did a system restore to a point prior to this move but the
folders are are still in the Shared folder and not The Documents folder.

Can you help? TIA

Your problem is that these are system folders and should not be moved. In
fact there already was a my music and my pictures folder available under all
users which I presume is what you have available as a shared drive and what
you should have done is move the files+sub folders rather than the root
folder.

I am not sure you can access what you need to sort this out in Windows -
have a look at a free utility called Tweak UI which lets you change hidden
settings in Windows. It should at least let you see what you have done (ie
it will tell you what windows now thinks is your My Music folder) and it
will allow you to change it back. It may be an idea to back up the folders
first in case something unexpected happens.
