My computer powers ups

My computer will be running, like it is thinking or running a program about a
hour after I have completely shut it down. The monitor isnt on or anything
but the power light on my CPU is on and I need help to find out why!

Check your BIOS for On Modem Ring or On LAN or Wake
on LAN or Wake On Modem or similar.
