My Computer Gets Stuck

Hello everyone!
I have a very wierd problem with my PC.I'm using Windows XP Home Edittion
OEM.Everything seems to be more that alright and then suddenly my computer
gets stuck and the the only thing that I can do is restarting it from the
button on the box.Sometimes it happens just from surfing in the
net,sometimes-from nothing at all.It may happen 20 times a day or once a
week-there's just no time or warning.I decided that may be my 2 years old
computer is already too old,so I bought a brand new one, with processor Core 2
DUO,1 GB RAM,another original disk of Windows XP Home Edition OEM.....like
it's written in the books :) .And after 3 days of using it appeared the same
problem. Now I'm completely lost. The only idea that can appear to me is that
the problem comes from installing a printer of HP,3 in 1,series 1311.I
searched for any information in the error messages....everywhere...and
nothing. Not even 1 notification that something wrong happened in the system.I
unistalled the printer from the "old" computer, but it didn't help-still gets
stuck.
Please help me,I don't know what to do :-( !

Have you recently scaned your PC for viruses and spyware? You can also speed
up you system with Tracks Eraser a program that wipes all of your tempoary
internet files and help keep your PC running smoothly.

Yes,my computer is being deep scanned every day,I use Kaspersky AV.Cookies
and temporary internet files are kept for not more than 12 hours. The PC is
completely clean.

OK.I followed your advices carefuly, read all, checked for malware and
everything in both of the computers. The result was 3 cookies in the new
computer and 28 in the old one.I deleted them. There was nothing else. And in
the morning the new computer was stuck again....I took the old computer to
the lab last week,it was there for 4 days, completely examined. They
experienced the problem but couldn't find any explanation for it.I really
don't understand how can I have a brand new computer,5 days old, with the same
problem. Is it a bad energy coming from me?!

Hi Maria,

It so hard to pinpoint what might be causing this from afar.

If the computer is only 5 days old, I would bring it back to where I
purchased it, and see if they can duplicate the symptom.
