my big problem!

I'm using Windows XP Professional. When i start to run a game it works fine
for a few minutes when the monitor turns off (if i try to turn it on i can't
because it turns off again before anything appears on my screen) and i have
to turn off my computer (a restart don't help). When i start my computer
again everything works fine until i want to play something, because then i
get the same problem.
What's wrong? Please help. Thanks for the answer.

Looks to me like a temperature problem. While playing a 3D game the GPU
generates much more heat than otherwise.

Check the temperature of the GPU. The video driver may provide a read-out.
Make sure that the graphics board fan runs full blast when playing 3D games.

Regards,

Konrad

But i didn't have problems like this one before. I have a good graphic card
and it worked fine until now...

Hi helpme,

Since it was all working fine until now, we will need to find out what has
changed on your system right before the problem was noticed by you.

Check the inside of your computer for dust on fans and air intakes. Use
a soft brush to remove the dust.

Hi helpme,

Focus on the GPU fan ... the other well meaning advice is "untested".
