My back ground is blue

By background is blue. When I go into the format I change it to a white
background, as I want it to stay. Then when I leave my office word program
to type a new letter the background is back to blue. How can I make it stay
white?

Maybe go to Tools - options - on the general tab - uncheck blue background
white text.
Does that help?
